Australia's New Tobacco Laws

In a landmark law, instigated by Prime Minister Julia Gillard, the new tobacco packaging laws will enforce all cigarettes to be sold with no company logo, in olive-brown packaging.
The new laws, which will come into effect on 1st December 2012, have already been challenged by the Ukraine and Honduras, complaining that they will create unnecessary trade obstacles.
