Attitude for Greatness
Article ,
What is attitude? It is what you think, believe, feel, expect, act, in relation to yourself, life, people, and your goals. Attitude can be positive or it can be negative; it can be limiting or it can be expanding; if you have a positive attitude, you feel alive, well, loved, happy, liked, confident,...you feel good; if you have a negative attitude, you feel angry, resentful, fearful, depressed, anxious, hopeless,... you feel bad. Your feelings are your thermometer to your attitude and, as we will see below, your life is the mirror to your attitude.

Somebody Had to Do It. So I Did
Article ,
In rural areas of Honduras, women are so confined that some can't even go to church by themselves. But after land reform in the 1970s, cooperative organizations of campesinos sprang up and they had roles for women: taking notes, pouring coffee, sweeping up after the meetings. I was one of those women until the day the men decided to send a few women to the city, Tegucigalpa, to be trained in leadership and advocacy.

Darlene Siddons, Author
We stage our life the way we want it to look; how we want to see it and find a design in order for that to happen. Videos are great for mapping out how we want to see things, then when you add affirmations and music, that makes them even more effective as it taps into more of your senses and your whole body can be empowered into making your desires manifest.

My Time
Tami Richards, Contributing Author
As time is a fact of reality which no sane person can deny, I am certain that it is something that we all consider at some point in our lives. There comes a point when one wonders about time and how we, as individuals, fit into it. A time when we wonder a little deeper than how long it takes to drive to work so we can set the alarm clock a few minutes later. When we wonder about more than how much longer until the kids go to bed. There comes a point when we wonder about something a little more involved than how long to cook pasta without overcooking it.

A Blessing in the Frozen Food Section
Meredith Morckel, ARCHIVED
With the book "God Stories" (2008), Editor Jennifer Skiff has compiled an anthology of first-hand accounts by people who have seen God, heard from God, or witnessed something miraculous that they attribute to God. It's a book that asks to be read slowly. I only got through two or three stories at a time before I had to put it down and digest what I'd read. The stories are powerful because they can't be explained by science or dismissed by coincidence. Like the parting of the Red Sea, like Lazarus rising from the dead, like Moses and the burning bush, they are miracles.

In the northern mountains of Guatemala, there are Mayan villagers who have never seen Caucasians. They’re heard of them, the white people who relocated their ancestors, stole their land, murdered their people for bananas and coffee beans. At the tender age of eleven years a remark made by my mother engraved itself into my memory. It concerned a girl some six or so years older than I. How humiliated she must have been. My heart aches for her even now.
